I am an out and proud biracial queer woman

the oldest daughter of a single mother who immigrated from Colombia

I love telling stories that deepen our compassion and empathy for one another; stories that inspire us to step outside ourselves and recognize our shared humanity. From the time I was young, I did not see myself reflected on stages or screens. That has translated to inspiration and purpose in my personal and professional life. I believe that stories have tremendous power. To heal, to connect, to change hearts and minds. They must be told consciously, and with respect. They must be told by those who's lives will be impacted because of them. I believe our industry has a lot of work to do, but that there is hope for a more equitable, sustainable, and wholistic future.
